Xerochrysum viscosum or Shiny Everlasting is a wonderful addition to the summer garden. This is the last to bloom and the longest to stay. Grows into a deciduous rootstock and dies down over autumn appearing in early spring once again.
Packet contains at least 30 seeds
Xerochrysum viscosum can be raised in the green house in an acidic potting medium. One for azaleas would be fine. Sprinkle the seeds onto the medium and water in. Leave it alone only watering during the growth period. It can be tricky as many natives are. Worth the effort for sure.
Seeds collected on the property by me here in Killawarra.
